GATTA-RESINanorulers from the GATTA-RESI series serve all advantages of the classical GATTA-PAINT nanorulers and bring them to the next level of resolution. They are based on RESI (Resolution Enhancement by Sequential Imaging), a DNA-PAINT technique in which neighbouring docking sites carry orthogonal sequences and are imaged one after another. By combining all localizations of each docking site, the localization precision is improved far beyond conventional DNA-PAINT.
Each GATTA-RESI nanoruler carries six pairs of docking sites, with the two sites of each pair placed 6 nm apart. The first site of every pair is imaged with the imager F1-LB, the second one with the imager F2-LB. Additionally, the nanorulers include DNA-PAINT based fiducial markers addressed by the imager F3-LB, which allow a precise drift correction and the alignment of both imaging rounds. For data analysis we recommend the open-source software Picasso.
For GATTA-RESI we offer a mark-to-mark distance of 6 nm in the color yellow (Cy3B). The imagers F1-LB, F2-LB and F3-LB are included and supplied in solution. On request we can also design custom nanorulers with smaller distances for your specific requirements.
